Long-haul flights are stressful. To avoid stress and jet lag,
• Start conditioning your body for a long flight by avoiding alcohol.
• Set your body clock to the time zone of your destination by sleeping and getting up earlier than the usual each day.
• Wear two watches: one watch should be set to the current time zone, and the other to the time at your destination.
• Dress up in comfortable clothes during the trip. Don’t wear closed clothes–prolonged sitting can make your feet swell.
Jet lag is physically draining. But with the right conditioning, your body will be able deal with it.
