Overcoming jet lag is not very difficult if you travel perhaps just once or twice a year for an occasional business trip or holiday. However, for frequent long-haul fliers, jet lag can bring harm with a variety of health problems, which most fliers do not realize can become permanent. Before considering a jet lag remedy, it’s wise to take a careful look at the jet lag symptoms that you might experience when you cross time zones. Here are some of them:
1. Fatigue and Disorientation
Fatigue and disorientation are two of the most common jet lag symptoms. You often feel disoriented and tired for a day or two after a long flight. You may also experience a lack of motivation and concentration, particularly during activities that require skill or effort. However, even simple activities can become difficult and your innate ability to enjoy the holiday that you had anticipated for so long may be reduced.
2. Fuzziness and Confusion
You may think that you are simply forgetful but, believe it or not, your experience of having to check that you locked your hotel room twice or thrice is a common jet lag symptom that frequent fliers like you experience. 3. Interrupted Sleep

6. Overall Health Problems
According to the World Health Organization, 50% of long-distance fliers experience jet lag symptoms that may lead to health problems like diarrhea, flu, colds, cough, body pain, long-term migraines, and more. This is because jet lag, climate changes, and changes in your diet may lower your resistance, further aggravating the problem.
