Hotels in China

China has enough local tourists of its own, but as of last count there have been roughly 55 million foreigners who have toured the country. It is believed that by 2020, China will become the biggest tourist country and the fourth for overseas trips.

Park Hyatt Hotels in Shanghai and Beijing top are two of the best hotels in China. Park Hyatt in Shanghai raises the bar for high taste. It is the highest hotel in the world with 87 floors. It gives you a heady view of the skyscraper city far below.
Park Hyatt Beijing soars above the city's central business district. It is part of Beijing Yintai Centre, the tallest skyscraper on Chang'an Avenue. Park Hyatt symbolizes the new China. Standing opposite the China World Trade Centre and the new CCTV Tower, this luxury hotel is five minutes from the Embassy District and just 15 minutes from the Forbidden City by car. There are a number of budget hotels in Shenzhen like Hedong Hotel where everything is at student price. It is very near the Shenzhen downtown, right next to 'Dong Men Shopping Street' where you can find stores selling fashion copies, shoes, and antiques. Hedong Hotel's Chinese Restaurant serves Cantonese cuisine and seafood. It also has a Western restaurant. The GDH Inn (Liu He) in Shenzhen, on the other hand, is highly-rated for its room service. It relies on its simplicity and nearness to the city. It is in stark contrast to the noisy streets outside.

China has dramatically changed from the late 90's onwards. It seems to be the only country in Asia that's weathering the global financial crisis well.
