Cairo International Airport is located in the northeast of Cairo. It opened Terminal 3 in April this year. The terminal will be fully operational by 2010. Terminal 3 comprises a main building with two parallel concourses. The structure covers more than 200 thousand sq meters of land. The structure links with Terminal 2 via a number of skywalk bridges. Johannesburg International Airport, meanwhile, is seeing massive upgrade in preparation for the 2010 World Cup. The reconstruction spans a new central terminal building, car parks, a station on the new Gautrain network, and a number of 5 star hotels.
