Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL) was formerly known as Montreal-Dorval International Airport, and is situated just 12 miles from downtown Montreal, in the city of Dorval, in the province of Quebec. The primary airport of Montreal, one of the airport's claims to fame is that it houses the second largest duty-free shop in North America. The airport also features a wide array of shops and boutiques and its services include spas, foreign currency exchange, and more, while its restaurants range from fast food and deli to dine-in offerings. Possessing three concourses, there is a dedicated concourse for trans-border passengers from the U.S., as well as an international concourse and a domestic concourse. Low-cost airlines are available to and from many destinations.

Montreal-Mirabel International Airport (YMX) is often called just plain Mirabel. As of 2004, Mirabel discontinued passenger service and only caters to cargo airlines

Montreal/Saint-Hubert Airport is primarily for general aviation aircraft only, with no more than 15 passengers. The Montreal Canadiens hockey club use this airport to avoid the crush and chaos that accompanies their arrivals or departures at Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport.
