Hobart is the second oldest city in Australia. It is an incredibly diverse and a spectacularly picturesque place at the foot of Mount Wellington and on the banks of the Derwent River in south Tasmania. The ambiance is a mixture of the old, the new, and nature at its breathtaking best. Hobart presents an exhilarating, exciting, and pleasure-filled memorable holiday experience for all tourists. Attractions include the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, Seven Mile Beach, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Constitution Dock, and St. David's Cathedral.
From the United States of America, Hobart is easily accessed through mainland Australian airports by domestic flights from Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport, Melbourne Tullamarine International Airport, Adelaide Airport, and Brisbane International Airport. Kingsford Smith Airport in Sydney is Australia's premier gateway providing direct connections to several domestic and international destinations. Direct and indirect connections for international destinations are also available in Melbourne, Adelaide, and Brisbane. Although direct flights to Australia from various international destinations are available, it is often cheaper to get an indirect flight. The extra time is worth the money you will save.
