One airport services the city of Bordeau- the Bordeaux-Merignac Airport (BOD) located in the town of Merignac, almost 10 km west of Bordeaux. The airport supports two terminals with a third expected to be completed in 2010. The airport serves three and a half million passengers each year and ranks as the sixth most popular destination in France.
