Cheap Flights To Adelaide, Australia
As the capital of the state of South Australia, Adelaide is the fifth largest city in the country. With a moderate Mediterranean climate, Adelaide has regular rainfall during the winter months and very few really cold days, making this popular Australian city one that is frequented by travelers year round. Sitting at the base of a peninsula extending into the Southern Ocean and on the small Gulf of St. Vincent, Adleaide is popular for having the best of two worlds; the glorious ocean on one hand and for being just a bike ride away from the native bush lands in the Mt. Lofty Ranges. Family vacationers will want to take in the Adelaide Zoo, with somewhere around 1400 exotic and native species and a magnificent rainforest exhibit, as well as the Australian Museum of Childhood which features children's toys dating from the 1890s, clear through to the present-day favorites...and the best part? You can play with all of them! Adults, on the other hand, might enjoy a leisurely stroll through the Adelaide Botanic Garden. Free guided tours are available, but you can also just find a grassy spot and sip a coffee or read a book. Adelaide also features a wide variety of museums and churches that are worth touring. Finally, be sure to visit the Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute. Its free didgeridoo shows on weekdays and hands on 'living on the land' displays are a favorite among young and old alike.

Cheap flights to Adelaide may be found by planning ahead or by combining your trip to Adelaide with a visit to other major Australian cities like Melbourne or Brisbane. Tiger Airways and Virgin Blue, both considered low-cost carriers, offer flights from each of these cities. You might also find cheap flights from Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Aukland and Singapore. These cities are the most popular routes in and out of Adelaide.
