Check-In

Online check-in is available and starts from 24 hours before the departure time and ends 90 minutes before the flight departs. This is the most convenient way to check-in if you are not traveling with immediate concerns such as pets or baggage. Web check-in is not available to passengers with lap children and unaccompanied minors.

The airline closes check-in 30 minutes before flight departure for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights. For destinations such as Honolulu, Dallas, Atlanta, Buffalo, Charlotte, Vegas, Denver, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Washington, Orlando and Seattle, check-in should be done at least 45 minutes before the flight.

Baggage

A passenger can carry one personal item and one bag to be carried in the passenger cabin. Wheelchairs or other assistive devices will not count as personal item. Dimensions for carry-on luggage are 45 linear inches/115 cm (11 x 14 x 26 in/ 28 x 35 x 66 cm) with a maximum weight of 18 kg/39 lbs.

A checked baggage should have linear dimensions of 62 linear inches/157 cm (length + width + height) and 50 lb/23 kg at most. The second bag for check-in will incur a fee of US$25. Bags that are over 100 lbs will be recommended for cargo.

Traveling Infants

Infants who are under two years old can travel with an accompanying adult for free during domestic flights. During international flights, parents of infants will be asked to pay 10 percent of the total airfare, and other taxes and surcharges. Reservations for infants should not be made online. The airline advises parents or guardians to have their infants booked personally or by phone. Children aged two to 12 years will be charged with the normal airfare, as they will be given their own seat.

Minors

Children who are five to 14 years old who are traveling alone are mandated by the airline to enroll on their unaccompanied minor service. Minors who are 15 to 17 year old do not have to enroll in this service, and will be allowed to travel without an adult although the service is optional to this age bracket.

Children traveling alone will not be eligible for child fares, and will have to pay in full the normal adult airfare, plus a fee of US$50 for a one-way trip. A parent should complete the Unaccompanied Minor Form for Carriage, which should be completed by the parent or guardian and should be carried by the child throughout the flight. For international destinations, the parent shall be responsible in preparing all needed documents before the child will be accepted for boarding.

Pets

Pets can either be transported inside the passenger cabin or checked-in. Pets should remain inside their kennels at all times. The kennel should be escape-proof and leak-proof. Pets that will be admitted at the passenger cabin and check-in are domestic dogs, birds and cats only. The pet should comfortably remain inside the kennel that measures 21 x 16 x 8" if it is hard-sided and 21 x 16 x 10" if soft-sided and should be put under the passenger's seat. The animal should not exceed 70 lbs in weight.
