Where Do They Fly

Thai Airways flies to 70 destinations around the globe including the United States, Germany, Italy, Bangladesh, Denmark, Malaysia, Australia, Korea, China, Canada, France, England, Japan, India, Indonesia, Greece, Denmark, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Cambodia.

Check-In

Thai Airways offers the convenience of internet check-in for domestic flights. For international flights the airline recommends arrival and check-in at least two hours prior to the flight as all flights close 30 minutes prior to departure. International passengers should be at the gate 45 minutes before their departure time.

Baggage

Passengers may carry one piece of hand luggage suitable for under the front seat or overhead in the cabin rack with dimensions not to exceed 22x 18x 10 in.

Child Fares

Children less than two years of age are charged 10% of the full adult fare for their ticket. Children two to 12 are charged 50% on domestic flights and 67% on international flights.

Senior Fares

Travelers aged 55 and over receive special rates. Check with the agent for the senior fares.

Pets

Small pets and cats are not permitted in the cabin however pets can be transported in the cargo section in a special carrier.

Carrying Oversized Baggage (Musical Instruments, Strollers, etc.)

Passengers can carry one musical instrument with them into the cabin. Security will x-ray the instrument prior to it being transported onto the plane.

In-Flight Service

Royal First class offers segregated cabins with innovative state-of-the-art sleeper seating and almost seven feet of space for stretching out per passenger. Interactive entertainment, in-seat telephones and laptop power outlets are also included. Royal Silk class offers two-abreast shell seats with five feet of stretch out space per passenger. Each seat reclines electronically 170 degrees and has telephone and laptop power outlets built in. Entertainment such as TV, music and games are available on demand. Premium economy class has a generous seating space and 42 inch stretch out space and wide arm and leg rests with122 degree of seat recline. Interactive entertainment, in-seat telephones and laptop power outlets are included. Economy class has new seats that are wider and include an interactive audio visual on demand system with a choice of entertainment and information. Cartoons and interactive games for children on-board regardless of seating are available upon request.

Air Miles

The Thai Airways frequent flier program is called Royal Orchid Plus and it has been voted as one of the best frequent flier programs as far as best award redemption, best website and best customer service.

Airline Food

Gourmet quality meals are served in-flight. Champagne, caviar and vintage wines are also available upon request.

In-Flight Magazine

Thai Airways offers passengers an in-flight magazine is called Sawasdee which won two awards for design features and photography reportage in New York at an event sponsored by the Society of Publication Designers (SPD).
