Where Do They Fly

Aeroflot flies mainly around the Soviet Union, but the airline also has an international network covering five continents in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. The network includes the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Spain, Mexico, Cuba, and the People's Republic of China.

Check-In

Local airports and airports abroad use different check-in times. The standard check-in desks are always available for service. Aeroflot offers several options for check-in including Priority Check-In, Check-In for economy class passengers, and Self-Service Check-in.

Baggage

Passengers are allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item such as a purse or a briefcase. Outer garments and devices do not count as personal items. All carryon luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of the passenger and should adhere to the maximum weight of 10kg or 22 lbs.

Child Fares

Children up to two years of age are not allowed to occupy their own seat and are charged 10% of an adult fare pus taxes. Passengers should inform the Aeroflot Russian Airlines that they will be traveling with an infant on their lap and only one child is allowed per adult. If one adult is traveling with more than one infant below two years age, a seat will have to be purchased for each additional infant. A seat may be purchased for an infant providing a proper child restraint device is used.

Senior Fares

Senior citizen discounted air fares are offered and are also available on all Aeroflot's destinations upon request.

Pets

Domestic animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits and birds are accepted for carriage in the passenger's cabin only if accompanied by an adult passenger and upon consent of the carrier.

Carrying Oversized Baggage (Musical Instruments, Strollers, etc.)

If a baggage size and weight exceeds the fixed free allowance, Aeroflot will charge a fee for any excess baggage. The specified fees always refer to a single route.

In-Flight Service

The crew of Aeroflot strive to ensure that all passengers feel safe and comfortable. Their in-flight service offers classes of service, travel sets for passengers, ergonomic seats in Airbus 319, 320, and 321, and hi-technology comfortable bed-transformable seats.

Air Miles

Bonus is Aeroflot's frequent flyer program which offers air miles to passengers. These air miles will however expire for members who have not had any flight activity for the past three years. Transfer of miles is also not allowed.

Airline Food

A diverse menu with beverages is offered on board to make the flight even more pleasant. Economy class passengers are offered soft drinks, juice and meals, depending on the flight, departure time, and flight duration.

In-Flight Magazine

Aeroflot is the in-flight magazine available on board.

Aeroflot is a member of the SkyTeam Alliance.
