Once passengers have booked their tickets, they can check-in through the website or at the airport. Online check-ins can be done in four simple steps: enter passenger details, enter the check-in details, confirm the information and print the document. The web check-In allows passengers to check-in, choose their seats and issue and print their boarding passes on their computer. Web check-in will save passengers time at the airport. The minimum check-in time at the airport is 45 minutes for domestic flights, 45 minutes for International flights with a short or medium haul and one hour for international flights with a long haul. Special services are available for unaccompanied children.

Checked baggage allowances vary based on destination and class. They must not exceed between one and two bags, 15-30 kg (33 - 66 lbs) each. Only one bag is allowed on board per passenger. On-board baggage must not exceed a total of 45 inches and must not exceed more than 8 kg/17 lbs. Excess baggage requests may be made when booking the reservation. A fee will be charged based on the weight and destination. Food must be packed in wooden boxes lined with absorbent material. Liquid items may be packed in a resealable, transparent plastic bag, and will be presented separately at Security Checkpoints for examination.

Traveling Infants

Infants up to the age of 24 months do not need a seat when accompanied by an adult. There are special seat belts for these infants. Infants weighing more than 18 kg/39 lbs, or if there is more than one infant per adult, will need to occupy a seat. Infants' meals are available on board, upon request during reservations.

Children between the ages of two and twelve should occupy their own seat. They must be well seated and strapped in. Children between the ages of five and 12 on domestic flights, and six to 12 on international flights must be treated as unaccompanied. They are not permitted to travel on the last flight of the day. The OA Unaccompanied Minor Service should be requested upon reservation. Information on the person escorting the minor must be given during reservation. This escort must provide adequate ID, fill out forms upon arrival at the airport, and remain until the flight has departed. Unaccompanied minors will be escorted through security checks, on to the plane, and seated first. Children's meals are available on board, upon request during reservations. Special on-board entertainment, such as music, movies and cartoons, is available for children on international flights.

Pets larger than 5 kg/11 lbs will be transported in special containers, in a well air-conditioned room of the cargo hold. Passengers must make a request to transport their pets when booking their reservation, and may use their own container if they wish. Pets may travel on board provided they and their carrier do not exceed 5 kg/11 lbs. Passengers may use their own container, or purchase one at the check-in counter. Guide dogs escorting visually impaired passengers are welcome aboard free-of-charge and should wear a muzzle. Passengers must advise OA about a guide dog upon reservation. Live animals may not be transported to or from the UK. A medical certification will need to be provided for pets being transported from Greece to abroad.
