Moldavian Airlines is the first private airline that started its operation in Moldova. The airline has its headquarters at Chisinau and its main hub is located at the Chisinau International Airport. Initially, the airline started its operation with regular flights between Chisinau and Moscow. At present, it provides passenger service as well as cargo transportation to many European destinations.

The air route of Moldavian Airlines covers some of the important destinations in Europe. It includes Budapest in Hungary, Timisoara in Romania, Stuttgart in Germany and Chisinau in Moldova.


The Moldavian Airlines allows free checked baggage allowance of 44 lbs in its economy and 66 lbs in its business class. Passengers traveling from USA and Canada are allowed free baggage allowance for two pieces of luggage. The weight and dimension of each should be within 70 lbs and 62" respectively.

Apart from the free checked baggage, the passengers can also carry small personal hand baggage in the overhead bin or under the front seat inside the cabin. The weight of the hand baggage should be within 11 lbs and its maximum dimension should be 46". One ladies handbag, camera or overcoat is also allowed to accompany the passenger on-board.
